Creating some yummy high vibration and nutritious green smoothie recipes with the kids


Add: *sprouted almond cacao mylk *baby kale *WHEATgrass *parsley *mango *apple *chia seeds *camu powder *moringa (whole plant) *shatavari

You can soak and sprout your almonds (nuts) by soaking for minimum of 4 hours and rinsing.  Blend in a high speed blender and use a mylk bag for a smooth creamy texture, or, use any high quality non dairy mylk that you love.

Recipe to make a blender full! This recipe feeds my family of 4. 

2 cups of sprouted almond mylk (coconut, hemp, rice mylk works great too)

handful of cocoa beans (blend with a little mylk till well blended)

a shot or frozen puck of wheatgrass

handful of fresh parsley

handful of baby kale (de-vined)

1 mango

1 apple

1 Tbsp chia seeds (soaked in a dish with warm water first till gelatine texture)

2 tsp. camu powder

2-4 Tbsp moringa

1 Tbsp Shatavari

I’m going to list some benefits below of the super food ingredients in this smoothie.  I feel it’s important and empowering to have some knowledge around the nutritional and healing benefits of the foods/superfoods we eat.

Raw Moringa:
Native to the Himalayan Mountains, Moringa oleifera is nature’s “miracle tree”. It’s packed with 90+ vitamins, minerals, vital proteins, antioxidants, omega oils, and other many other benefits!

Wheatgrass juice is an effective healer because it contains all minerals known to man, and vitamins A, B-complex, C, E, l and K. It is extremely rich in protein, and contains 17 amino acids, the building blocks of protein. 3. Wheatgrass juice contains up to 70% chlorophyll, which is an important blood builder.

Chia seeds are loaded with antioxidants. Super high fiber, high omega 3 fatty acids and high protein. Improve blood markers and Great for weight loss and lubrication.

Raw Camu Camu:
Vitamin C – more than any other food!
(1/2 teaspoon of powder provides more than 400% the Daily dose).
High in anti-oxidants. Contains beta carotene, potassium and many amino acids.

Shatavari, or Asparagus racemosus, has been used for centuries in Ayurveda to support the reproductive system, particularly for females, however males too, and as a support for the digestive system, especially in cases of excess pitta. Translated as “having one hundred roots” and also referred to as meaning “having one hundred husbands”, Shatavari’s name gives reference to its traditional use as a rejuvenative.
